I'm at a loss. I could be wrong but it seems if our people in government would manage our money more wisely, this kind of thing wouldn't be happening.
For example. There is a piece of property sitting vacant on 301.
The city overpaid for the piece in the first place.
Purchased for a deal that never happened.
Money well spent?
I think Not!
I think you should be able to hold events that bring people to the city without being charged for the space.
I don't understand the excuse of processing the permits. Aren't the employees getting paid to do a job. Is processing permits not in their job description?
